The Nanning area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone was selected as one of the "2023 Top 10 Advanced Cases for Optimizing the Business Environment of Guangxi" for its excellent implementation of the reform of separating operation permits from business licenses.

Nanning area has recently implemented a new policy for enterprise-related licensing items. This policy involves advancing credit investigation while delaying formal examination and scene inspection. All items are carried out with the "pre-commitment of compliance" to reduce processes and provide minimal approval services. 

Nanning has announced 13 administrative permission items for travel agencies, low-risk food production, human resources services, and public place hygiene.

The new policy released by Nanning is gaining increasing influence. In September 2023, it was promoted in China as a typical case of improving government service efficiency. Besides, its achievements gained recognition from the main leaders of Guangxi in the same month.
