Guangxi FTZ advances trade facilitation towards greater efficiency
In recent years, China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone has implemented a series of innovative pilot tasks and policies to build a multimodal transport system with sea-rail intermodal transportation as the backbone, improve the integrated modern logistics system of land, sea, and air, optimize and further reduce the social logistics costs.
In the Qinzhou Port area, representative enterprises have conducted innovative pilot projects on optimized inspection of containerized ore products imported through Qinzhou Port, using the "port direct pick-up, local inspection" model.
After the implementation of the reform, the clearance time for imported containerized ore products at the port has been reduced, providing strong support for increasing trade volume.
In 2023, the overall clearance time for imports at Qinzhou Port was 56.81 hours, a reduction of 78.76 percent compared to 2017. The overall clearance time for exports was 1.44 hours, a reduction of 96.68 percent compared to 2017.
