The China-Vietnam Smart Port Project, based on satellite navigation and 5G technology, utilizes unmanned container transport vehicles, automated lifting equipment, container inspection systems, and intelligent image review systems. It is supplemented by a smart command and dispatch platform capable of facilitating cross-border logistics information exchange between China and Vietnam, enabling continuous 24-hour clearance of goods.

At the Youyiguan Border Gate, a rapid customs clearance model for inbound and outbound vehicles has been implemented, where Chinese drivers only need to "present their documents, provide fingerprints, and undergo facial recognition" to complete intelligent clearance in just 15 seconds.

A new model for inbound fruit inspection, "layered inspection + commitment to departure," has been introduced. The layered inspection eliminates the traditional process where companies had to sample and inspect fruits at the port before they could be released. With this new system, the clearance time for inspected fruits has been reduced from three to five days to less than three hours.
