A promotion conference for the high-quality development of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) was held on Sept 24 in Nanning city, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The conference aimed to accelerate the deepening of international cooperation in Guangxi FTZ.

Sui Guohua, vice chairperson of Guangxi, said that it was currently in a golden development period and Guangxi FTZ would boost cooperation to promote free and convenient trade and investment and drive high-quality regional economic development.

The conference is said to have yielded fruitful results, including the signing of cooperation agreements and the promotion of significant project contracts.

Additionally, an investment and trade procurement event was held to follow up on a raft of preliminary agreements.

On Sept 25, conference attendees went on field inspections to see for themselves the development prospects of the Guangxi FTZ.
