Pingxiang recently held the unveiling ceremony for the Pingxiang Cross-Border Shopping Center and the signing ceremony for the Vietnam-China Digital Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park in Pingxiang, Guangxi.

The Pingxiang Cross-Border Shopping Center integrates cross-border tourism shopping, border trade market procurement, and digital trade platforms into a dynamic retail hub. Utilizing the strategic advantages of Pingxiang port and the policy incentives of the Chongzuo area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, the center offers consumers a convenient, one-stop destination for high-quality international goods.

The center will serve as an efficient bridge for the circulation of high-quality domestic and foreign goods, aligning with the global trend of globalization in the digital economy. By digitally empowering the entire trade chain, it seeks to achieve deep integration of online and offline and a combination of trade and services.

The Vietnam-China Digital Cross-Border E-commerce Industrial Park project, with a total building area of 22,000 square meters and a planned total investment of about 80 million yuan ($11 million), will focus on creating a cross-border e-commerce ecosystem that integrates Vietnamese product live streaming, offline product displays, e-commerce talent training, and logistics distribution. Implementing this project will further boost the upgrading of Pingxiang's cross-border e-commerce industry.
